Left the store feeling livid and belittled! The lady in charge argued with me for a good 15/20 mins and blatantly refused to refund or exchange a bracelet my son had bought me for Xmas! I was returning it as a stone had fallen out 2 days after wearing it! She claimed that it was not their policy to refund as the bracelet was not theirs and so had to return to the original supplier to be assessed! I ended up leaving the bracelet with them and walking out as was getting too upset at the way I was being treated!Would never purchase anything from here again, extremely poor customer service.!
We received an exceptional level of customer service from Aaron and Sam this afternoon which resulted in a purchase of a bespoke eternity ring. Would always comeback to Emson Haig as the quality of the products are exceptional and this is one of the best Jewellers in Essex.
Cant thank Sam and his team enough! I bought 2 Tudor watches from Sam and I had a good experience from start to finish. The staff know their stuff and welcomed me to view and try there collection. Im sure i will be back soon for some more watches!
Although we didn't purchase anything, the staff were very friendly and approachable and tried their best to answer any questions we had. They were friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome.
Within half an hour of getting in to lakeside the striking blue an red of the Tudor Pepsi GMT caught my eye and like a moth to the proverbial flame I was drawn in for a closer look. Approaching the window of Elson Haig I saw they not only had the GMT but also the almost as rare Black bay fifty eight, "You had my curiosity.... but now you have my attention ". Charlotte who was adjusting the window display asked if I wanted to come in and try them on, after gaining the required permission from my better half I readily agreed and I am so glad I did. Being the manager of an Independent Retailer myself, I am a stickler for customer service and if the experience isn't up to my standard I simply won't buy. From the moment I walked in I was impressed; the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good you could sense that they had a good team dynamic and were keen to involve me as the the customer. The manager Sam has clearly trained the staff well as Charlotte was knowledgeable and passionate about the products she showed me. As we were talking another member of the team came and offered me a drink, which while this is fairly standard practice in a high end watch and jewellery store, it is unusual for someone outside of management and the salesperson directly involved to show interest and care towards the customer. Once I had a good opportunity to handle the watch and was clearly interested in purchasing the black bay 58 Charlotte attempted to close the sale and offered me an impressive lead time for a watch with a considerable waiting list (much quicker than anywhere else I have seen, and believe me I have looked). She wasn't pushy and understood that I needed to go and have a think over some lunch. The proof is in the pudding as they say and after lunch I went back and placed my order.5* service from start to finish I will make the 220 mile round trip next time I have a Horological itch to scratch.
