The worst experience in buying furniture from (JOYSLEEP AT WEST THURROCK LAKESIDE) I move in my home on the 1st November and place my order for a bed frame on 11 November within 3 days I loss my cousin suddenly, however I contact the store where I place my order the next day after that sad news to explain the situation and request for a cancellation has I would need the money back to travel to my country to see my mom and the family as we needed each other in this difficult time, the person I spoke to told me he would speak to the manufacturer to see if there will be a cancellation fee, I told him I dont mind to pay a small cancellation fee has I really need the money back to travel, the next day he call me back and said he will have to take 50% from my 995 for cancellation fee at first I thought he was joking but no he was dead serious, I couldnt do anything but cry to know how can a Human be so heartless for money:( I know I order the bed frame because I wanna it but I havent receive the items and wanted to cancel because of a death in my family and that still wasnt enough...WOW Am not a person to wish bad for others but I really dont think a business like this should prosper. On the same day I order American-style fridge which should be delivered by the 29 November and I call to cancel and explain the same thing to currys and they understand and refund the money back has they said they normally take 20% but in this case its a emergency and they are so sorry for my loss:) AM SAYING ALL THIS TO SAID IF DEATH COULDNT LET ME HAVE A REFUND THEN NOTHING ELSE WOULD. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM AND WILL NEVER-EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
We were so looking forward to getting our new sofa which was due to arrive by the end of May when we had originally placed the order for in February. after a catalog of events or excuses, We were eventually told the sofa would arrive at the end July, however yet again no sofa! We have no indication when the sofa will be arriving as yet again another date of mid August has come and passed. The most irritating thing despite the fact there has been no sofa is that the only time we here anything is when we chase, in fact the staff appear to have been un-informative and unsympathetic throughout..
Ordered bedroom furniture was very happy with the service and the fitting. Will certainly go back for more furniture and recommend to my family and friends.

Avoid - Bought a bed from this place and was told it would be arriving within 8 weeks at the beginning of January, it is now May and there is still no sign of the bed. I was offered 95 off of the bed which is brilliant, and I cannot fault them for that. However, they then gave me another date for my bed to be arriving .... no sign. I contacted them and they said it will not be here for another two weeks. Ridiculous! After very poor customer service, I left a review on here for the manager to call me the next day saying my review was slanderous and untrue, which it certainly wasn't. It was then deleted. I then collected my deposit back and went to Benson for Beds where my bed has now been delivered within a week of buying it, much better quality, service, and price! Moral of the story - avoid this company and shop in Bensons or Dreams!
